    Siemens Mobility Ltd is a train manufacturer for the railway, also providing services such as the servicing, overhauling and repairing of parts. They operate all over the UK, though are increasingly visible in the Yorkshire landscape with a factory in Leeds and a new train manufacturing plant in development in East Yorkshire. Siemens understand the value in STEM learning as a means of developing the skills to succeed in the engineering industry and wider business. They are committed to investing in future talent, and offer the students at UTC Leeds real opportunity for development and success.

  • Meet our Employer Partner Braime

    One of our earliest partnerships was with Braime. In fact, the UTC was built in part of the historic Braime factory at Hunslet in Leeds. Braime consists of two companies – Braime Pressings Ltd, which started in 1888 and is an industry leader in metal pressings and sub-assemblies, and 4B Braime, which is a world leader in bucket elevator components and electronic monitoring.

The company manufactures fibreglass and Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) products, which can be anything from windows for lorries to elements of wood-fired ovens.   • Meet our employer partner Bam Nuttall

    One of our newest partnerships is with BAM Nuttall, which specialises in civil engineering and is part of the Royal BAM Group of civil engineers, one of the biggest civil engineering companies in Europe. The group employs 20,000 people globally, with an annual turnover of £7 billion.
