Student Mental Health & Wellbeing
Here to support you:
At UTC Leeds our aim is to make the college the best it can possibly be for the students, staff and parents. We recognise the importance of mental health and wellbeing and therefore have a team of staff as well as partner organisations to help us promote and support mental health.
We aim to provide a supportive and inclusive environment and are proactive in our approach. We offer lessons and assemblies specifically designed to help students manage anxiety and stress. Additionally, our pastoral team is always available to provide support to those who need it.
To maintain continuity and to provide support structures within college for students diagnosed with mental health problems, we work closely with organisations such as Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and outreach services.
